How does the denim fit in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?

Fit in the waist is excellent. Crotch is great and thighs are loose but very comfortable.

Where would you wear this denim to?

The real question is where would I NOT wear this denim to? I can wear these KASIL JEANS pretty much anywhere.

How would you style this denim?

Simple… white v neck. I like to do it THE DENIM GUY way. WHITE V NECK and DENIM… simple and easy.

On a scale of 1-10, how hot did you feel walking down the street in your new denim?

How it fits in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs ?

These jeans are amazing! They are not overly tight anywhere on my body and fit just perfect! The fit totally outlines my body without looking too baggy or too tight anywhere. The crotch area doesn’t hang too low so it really looks like the jeans were altered perfectly for my body when in reality no alterations were needed at all! The cut on the bottom of the jeans also really makes them wearable with any type of shoe and has a unique outline to it. It doesn’t look like the jeans “strangle” my ankle but instead slightly cover the top of my foot, which helps because I have a tattoo on my foot, which at times needs hiding at my job! They accentuated every good part about my lower body, especially my thighs. I loved the fact that they made my thighs look skinnier without looking too tight. Another major plus about these jeans is that they don’t hang low when I bend down so no one gets a peep show of my underwear!

Where would you wear this denim to?

I have already worn my Kasil’s multiple times. I wore them to a family dinner with some Calvin Klein strappy high heels and they looked absolutely amazing! They made my legs look so much longer which made my family wonder if I went through a growth spurt at the age of 26. I paired them with a basic black top and cardigan. The amazing outline on the bottom of the jeans made them not look awkward in any way pairing them with such high shoes. I also wore them during the day with some Juicy Couture flats and a plain tee shirt while Christmas shopping. Even wearing them with flats they looked like they were altered especially for me. They did not drag at all on the floor (which is my biggest pet peeve when it comes to denim because it just ruins a good pair of jeans and looks like they don’t fit you at all!). I was in target Christmas shopping and was approached by a young lady asking me what kind of jeans I was wearing. She said she was curious because we had similar body shapes (we are both short but with somewhat long legs for being so short) and she really liked how they looked on me. We both knew exactly how hard it is to find jeans that fit so great so I think I recruited a new fan of Kasil jeans!

How would you style this denim?

I’m a simple girl but I am a shoe fanatic! I love dark denim and would pair this denim with either some cute flashy heels at night and some comfortable flats during the day! I love wearing gladiator sandals as well because they are also so comfortable. I think these jeans can easily be paired with anything because the fit makes them so appealing to everyone!

Describe your experience in letting the Denim Guy fit you?  Were you familiar with the brand before the fitting?

The Denim Guy and I go way back but he has never fitted me for jeans before. I haven’t seen him in about 8 years and was a little nervous about giving him what I thought was my size over the phone. Doing what he does best he asked a close friend of mine what size she thought I would be and looked at pictures of me and was able to come up with a proper size. As soon as I walked in to get fitted by him he looked at me and instantly knew he had chosen the correct size for me and that the size I had given him over the phone was wrong. I had heard of Kasil jeans before getting fitted by him but did not own a pair. The Denim Guy had a stack of jeans for me to try on and as I showed him how they fit he instantly knew what looked good and what did not. My biggest surprise was that he knew my correct size just by looking at pictures of me, which amazed me!! I wish I could take him jean shopping with me every time because I look back and think I have wasted money on unflattering fitting jeans!

On a scale of 1-10, how hot did you feel walking down the street in your new denim?

I feel like a 9 ½. The remaining ½ will come in when I buy more amazing shoes to wear with my amazing denim! I felt great wearing my new jeans and I feel like maybe it’s time to invest in some more proper fitting denim!!

How does your old denim compare to your new stuff? Any salvation army visits to get rid of the old denim?

There will definitely be some Salvation Army visits coming up! I now realize that I own jeans that are about 2 or 3 sizes too big for me and I probably look ridiculous wearing them! My old denim doesn’t even compare to my new denim. I feel like a fashionista ready to strut my stuff and not feel so self-conscious about how I look doing it! I feel like my major denim dilemma was fixed and in good timing…at the start of a brand new year!

THE WORKSHOP BY KASIL PRESENTS

A Platform for collaboration and experimentation

Kasil denim is proud to kick off its first Workshop by Kasil collaboration with Taylor Jacobson, former assistant of Rachel Zoe.

The collection will be available in store nationwide in July 2010.

The line is launching next week at PROJECT GLOBAL TRADE SHOW. I already have my appointment to meet David & Taylor to get a sneak peek to this new project!

How does the denim fit in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?

Fit in the waist, and thighs are perfect.  I absolutely love the waist.  It’s very flattering and hides all the trouble areas.  Also since it’s high waisted you don’t have to worry about giving the world a free show every time you stand up or sit down. I am totally in love with the color too.

Where would you wear this denim?

I wore this pair of denim to work, and paired it with a black and white striped sweater and some heels. I did get a lot of compliments from co-workers about how cute the denim was.

Describe your experience in letting the Denim Guy fit you?  Were you familiar with the brand before the fitting?

This was my first time encountering Kasil and my first initial reaction when The Denim Guy fitted me for these was that I was channeling my inner hippie.  This particular style of denim is a higher waisted wider leg trouser, so it was a bit awkward at first.  I am not used to wearing anything other than low rise jeans so it definitely took some getting used to.  After putting on a pair of heels though I quickly became attached.

On a scale of 1-10, how hot did you feel walking down the street in your new denim?

On a scale of 1 to 10, walking down the street I’d say I felt like an 8 or 9.  I know the denim just needs to be broken in, like all premium denim.

How does your old denim compare to your new stuff?

Compared to my other brands of premium denim Kasil feels indestructible, and strong.  I am very excited to be introduced to Kasil, and I will definitely be in the market for another pair.  I can’t wait to see all the styles Kasil has to offer.  Thanks Kasil for this amazing opportunity!  Keep up the good work!

How do your Kasil’s fit in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?

The jeans fit extremely well at the waist with a small amount of room to move around without the jeans feeling too tight.  The jeans are relaxed throughout the entire leg giving a nice comfy feel that will be great on a warm spring day. You know that type of day…the weather is just warm enough that those skinny jeans are starting to get uncomfortably tight. The denim is incredibly soft which gives the jeans a worn feel without the one year of wash/wear.

Where would you wear this denim to?

My Kasil Jeans are perfect for a night out as they are just dark enough to pair with a button up shirt, blazer and boots.

Describe your experience in letting the Denim Guy fit you?

It was a great experience letting someone else fit me.  I am familiar with the brand but the previous pair was a little snug on the waist and legs. It was nice to get a pair of denim that had a little more room to move around without being overly baggy and shapeless.

On a scale of 1-10, how hot did you feel walking down the street in your new denim?

I feel like an eight! The jeans lend to a very comfortable laid back feel that I sometimes lack when I’m wearing the tight straight leg jeans that sit low on the waist.

On a scale of 1-10, what do you think your new bootylicious factor is?

It definitely ups the bootylicious factor than my other jeans from a 6 to an 8.  It’s nice to have a pair of jeans that allows you to feel comfortable while still maintaining the shape of your body.

What Denim are you reviewing?

Kasil Jeans, the Betty in a size 25

How does the Denim fit?

I would have to say that I think this denim runs a little big and I would have fit a little better in a size down but I think they still look really cute on. The denim fits all around kind of loose but they had a nice little flare at the bottom which gave me a hippie vibe while I was wearing it, so I thought that was a nice change.

What did you think of the quality of Denim?

The denim is thicker but still very nice and soft. My favorite part about this denim is that the pockets are all lined with a deep red really soft cloth, it gave me the feeling of a really fancy smancy hotel.

Oh, and there was a little saying on the tag on the inside of the denim that I thought was cool. It said “Know first who you are; and then adorn yourself accordingly.” Thought I’d just share that with the class.

What would you wear this denim with?

I put an outfit together with this pair I’d probably stick to the vibe it gave me when I was wearing it and have a loose tank top and some natural colored wedges.

On a scale of 1-10, how hot did you feel walking down the street in your new denim?

Walking down the street I feel like a 9.5 on a 10 point scale of hotness. 9.5 only because I wish I could have cuter tops to go with my awesome denim.

Describe your experience in letting the Denim Guy fit you?  Were you familiar with the brand before the fitting?

The Denim Guy did a beyond amazing job on finding me some fan-freakin-tastic denim. I really have a hard time finding denim that fit me the right way, If it is tight enough its usually not long enough or flattens my butt, or if it is long enough its too loose in the thighs. I told Johnny all my denim woes and he has cured me of my hatred towards denim shopping. I’ve never heard of Kasil Jeans but now I know what brand to look out for the next time I’m shopping for a new pair of denim.
