How it fits in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?

I wasn’t a fan of skinny jeans because I didn’t know how to pick out a pair that looked good on me. I love the fact that these jeans are stretchy all over and don’t give me a “muffin top.” They fit perfectly around my knees and ankles without looking overly tight and they aren’t the kind of jeans that are so tight that they take an hour to get off. The material makes all of the un-toned areas on my body look really toned as well. These jeans were so comfortable that I felt like I could do yoga or Pilates in them and not feel uncomfortable in any way!

Where would you wear this denim to?

I wore this denim to work. I work with small children under the age of 3 years old. I wouldn’t say my job is hard but it’s almost a daily workout since I am constantly bending over to pick up the children I work with or chase after them. Today I worked with a child who has a younger mom (24 years old); as soon as I walked up to her house she immediately complimented my jeans! I wore them with a tank top and longer sweater with some ballet flats. I try to dress comfortable when I work with the kids but my comfortable outfit was also very presentable and didn’t look sloppy at all. The child’s mother liked the fact that I was able to bounce on the trampoline as well as chase after her daughter and not look uncomfortable in my jeans.

How would you style this denim?

I wasn’t a skinny jean fan at first because I didn’t think I had the body type to pull them off, after wearing them I realized you could easily pull off lots of different styles with them. I would wear some cute higher boots with them, or even gladiator sandals or flats. The color is so unique since it’s not just straight black that either simple or dressy tops or sweaters will look cute with them!

Describe your experience in letting the Denim Guy fit you?  Were you familiar with the brand before the fitting?

When the Denim Guy picked skinny jeans for me I had my doubts at first but once I tried them on I loved the comfort and look of them! I had seen a few different pairs of James Jeans at Nordstrom’s while shopping a while back but I’m not too smart in the “jean department” and have a hard time picking jeans that will accentuate all the right places on my body and hide all the bad places. The Denim Guy instantly knew what would look good on me and helped in expanding my style and knowledge on denim!

How does your old denim compare to your new stuff? Any salvation army visits to get rid of the old denim?

My new denim actually fits me, which is a huge shocker to me since I’ve been wearing the wrong size in denim for the last eight years! I think some Salvation Army visits re in the works as well as donating my old denim to people it will actually fit. My old denim was also very cheaply made and bought from stores like Forever 21. The quality wasn’t as good as my new denims quality so I feel like a million bucks walking around town!

Does your new denim help you channel a new alter ego? Introduce us to this person…

I think my new denim channels a new alter ego by making me feel good about myself and my body instead of feeling insecure about the way I look. I love the fact that people are finally complimenting my new denim. I feel more beautiful than ever and all because of my new found comfort. I feel like I can walk around New York like a character from Sex & the City and live a glamorous lifestyle in fabulous clothing!

My name is Paula and I am a mother of 3.  I work in the medical field for an Orthopaedic group.  After being introduced to James Jeans by the Denim Guy I have a new look on black jeans.  I really don’t have much of black denim but these are amazing.  I would have to say that they are true to size.  I am a size 26 and when I tried them on they fit me PERFECT! I had never heard of James Jeans before but I’m so glad that I now know of this fabulous brand.

The Denim Guy once again fitted me to a pair of black skinny James Jeans that I absolutely LOVE!  This is soft denim that is super comfortable with a little stretch, a higher rise and you can wear them with anything-both casual or on the dressier side.  They are super cute and flattering especially on the derriere, there’s something about the pockets that I love. It’s almost as if they give you a butt lift.  They fit perfect from my waist, thighs, down my legs, knees and ankles.  One thing I can’t stand is when a jean doesn’t have a clean straight fit look to them. It’s so unattractive when a jean is all crinkled up in the knee area and these are definitely not something that I have to worry about.   These jeans are another pair to add to my favorite list of jeans.

These can be dressed up or down. You can go from wearing a basic T either fitted or loose with a cardigan to a cute top/tank with a motorcyle jacket and some heels/boots, not forgetting to accessorize your look for a night out.  I wore them both ways and felt and looked GREAT!  Not only did I look super cute but I was comfortable. What I love most about these jeans is that you can wear them with sandals, flats, knee high boots, ankle boots or even heels.  They’re so versatile I love it!  The jean is so soft it almost feels as if you are wearing leggings.  I received so many great compliments on them that I definitely want to go get another pair.

On a scale of 1-10 I would rate these a 10.  They made me look and feel super confident. There’s nothing like wearing a beautiful pair of jeans and feeling like a super model.

My experience with the Denim Guy is one that I will never forget. He knows what he’s doing and knows about his jeans.  We needed somebody like him in the world of denim…THANK YOU DEMIN GUY for ALL that you do for us DENIM lovers.

How it fits in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?

Unbelievably comfortable! The waist doesn’t pinch and fits snugly, so now I don’t have to worry about them sliding down all the time. James has a great fit in every place I have a problem (especially in the thighs) and again, I’m getting major love in the backside! I’m swinging my booty all over the place in these jeans! The ankles fit well and come to perfect length with a new pair of shoes I just bought, so yeah I’m completely in love. These by far are my favorite jeans!

Where would you wear this denim to?

I have already worn this pair three times!!  So I guess you can tell I love them!  I wore them out to lunch with some old high school friends and paired them with a blue sweater, white shirt, a black hat and 5 inch heels. My girlfriends loved how long my legs looked and how the jeans fit. Later on, I dropped off a gift to my friend’s mom and even she told me how much she loved my jeans and the way they made legs look! Mhmm, blows all those “you’re so short” jokes right outta the water.

I wasn’t familiar with James jeans before The Denim Guy fit me. Sooo glad he pulled these for me because they fit like a dream! I always thought I could never get into skinny jeans because my thighs are little big and I was afraid that I would look like a stuffed sausage. However, with of all the positive responses on how they make me look, I’m going to be a James Girl for life!

How does the denim fit in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?

The fit around the waist is perfect. I’d say this pair has a moderate rise. It hugs my curves and fits comfortably in the thigh and butt area. The fit around the ankle makes it so I can actually wear these with cute flats, something that I can rarely pull of with skinny jeans for some reason.

How would you style this denim?

I would wear these to dinner or even to work on casual Friday.

How would you style this denim?

I’d pair these with a sweater and cute flats if I were wearing them to work. or with a flowy top for dinner.

Describe your experience in letting the Denim Guy fit you?

I liked that The Denim Guy pulled these for me because I’ve been looking for a pair of denim that I can wear with flats! So excited. These are much better than a lot of my old denim because I couldn’t really see myself wearing any of my old pairs to work. I’d definitely feel comfortable meeting with clients on Friday or over the weekend wearing these.
