In my pursuit to find the next perfect man-bag, I have decided to stop looking towards Designer bags ( LV, Gucci, Prada) because to be honest they pretty much all suck right now or they are overlay branded!  So now it’s going to be Ghurka! Ghurka! Ghurka! Founded in Connecticut in 1975 by designer and adventurer Marley Hodgson, Ghurka has served as a symbol of superior American leather craftsmanship for over thirty years.

Ghurka’s history can be traced back to an antiquities auction in the early 1970s where Marley, fueled by his love of history and leather craft, bid to win on campaign gear once owned by a regimental officer of the British Ghurkas stationed in India during the early 1900s. He was so impressed by the workmanship and quality of the nearly century-old leather that he was inspired to create a line of work and travel gear to complement his belt and brace brand, Trafalgar.
