The Denim Guy | The Denim Girl

Well it is that time again to check in with all of TheDenimGuy readers and show the wonderful transformation that my Big Star raw denim has taken.  During the past couple months my denim have been extremely active traveling around with me.  Some of the areas that I have noticed the most change include behind the knee, back pockets, and the whisker effect on the front of the denim.  (60 day review here)

Over the past few weeks I have really noticed the change behind the knees on my denim as the crisscross wrinkles have developed and are fully visible at all times whether I am wearing the denim or they are just laying on my bed.  Sometimes it is hard to notice the changes that are taking place so I began taking weekly photos and comparing but not always comparing week by week instead finding times when the most drastic changes occurred.  About two weeks ago is when I began to notice the whiskers on the front of the denim show through which I believe have given my Big Star’s a new identity and have really set them apart from a lot of my other denim.  My back pockets quickly began to take on the shape of my wallet and have since begun to slow down, but I am expecting some stronger changes before my next review.

At times wearing the same pair of raw denim for so many days in a row can be challenging because everyone wants to reach back into their closet and grab that old pair of favorite denim.  I have had times that all I wanted to do was grab another pair of denim just to get a different feel, but I got passed that feeling and now I have a great pair of denim that are completely unique to my body.  So this is a little message to all my fellow raw denim believers get passed that point of grabbing something else and create your wash!!!
