These Pointer Charlie’s are so very knowingly Ivy. Needless to say interest in the classic East coast collegiate style has seen a resurgence of late. Pointer play on that with a clever take on the saddle shoe trend. Bringing both an interesting sole unit and the contrast of the saddle shoe to a kick that’s capable of pounding any street. The broguing treatment given to them is muted, lending the shoe a cleaner air than traditional saddle shoes. The more muted colours prevent associations with bowling alleys and the Kentucky Derby, whilst still having enough edge to make them a strong statement piece.
