A Q & A with Wesley…

Denim Reviewing:

THE DENIM GUY: Were you familiar with the brand before the fitting?

WESLEY: I was not familiar with Genetic denim before this fitting. However, now I can say that I am now and they are going to be some of the first denim I look for next time I go shopping for denim.

THE DENIM GUY: How does the denim fit in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?

WESLEY: Denim fits snug around the waist, tight in the crotch, and with the slight bootcut leg fit the butt and thighs fit as comfortably as any denim I have ever had.

THE DENIM GUY: Where would you wear this denim to?

WESLEY: I actually wore this pair of denim to the Lion King performance with a long sleeve knit shirt and a nice pair of dress shoes.  This is the perfect pair of denim because if you do not feel like wearing a pair of slacks, you can easily substitute for a dark pair of Genetic Denim.

THE DENNIM GUY: How would you style this denim?

WESLEY: I would style this denim with a nice knit shirt and either a clean pair of Creative Rec shoes or dress shoes. Either would be perfect, just depends on what you are getting into that night and how comfortable you want to be.

THE DENIM GUY: Describe your experience in letting me fit you?

WESLEY: Letting you fit me was a great experience. You opened my eyes to so many great brands and new fits that have changed all of my opinions on denim.

THE DENIM GUY: On a scale of 1-10, how hot did you feel walking down the street in your new denim?

WESLEY: My Genetic Denim makes me feel like a 9!

THE DENIM GUY: Why?

WESLEY: Because when I wear this denim I am planning on going out and I know that with my Genetic Denim half the battle is done! Now I just have to find a shirt to finish off what I am wearing for the night.

THE DENIM GUY: How did your significant other react to your new look?

WESLEY: Everywhere I go with friends I receive compliments not only on the fit but the style & look of the denim.  It is nice to go from occasionally having someone tell you that they like your denim, to people asking what kind of denim you are wearing and how you like them constantly.  I almost feel as if I am helping people just like the denim guy helped me.

THE DENIM GUY? How does your old denim compare to your new stuff? Any salvation army visits to get rid of the old denim?

WESLEY: My old denim doesn’t even come close to comparing! I’ve had other designer denim, but I feel like this pair of Genetic Denim is on the upper echelon of the designer denim scale.  When considering my old denim I am quick to give them away or drop them off at the nearest thrift store.
