Denim Reviewing AG (Adriano Goldschmeid) Ex-Boyfriend Khaki Crop in a size 27
SPECIAL REVIEW : First things first. Get this, the Denim guy gave me a pair of pants that were…wait for it…NOT DENIM! Don’t get me wrong, this is not a complaint at all! I’ve always had a top-secret crush on khaki, primarily because it’s so incredibly comfortable. This awesome pair of semi-torn, crop khakis are no different.

How does the khaki fit in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?
They have a nice snug fit through the butt, hip and upper thigh, and waist, but through the lower thigh and the rest of leg they have that amazing boyfriend-inspired loose fit. They are comfy, yet discreetly sexy at the same time. Plus, I am obsessed with the name: Ex Boyfriend Khaki Crop. Not boyfriend. Oh no, ex boyfriend. So this fit is for a lady who is on the prowl, but doesn’t want anyone to know!
Where would you wear this pant to or if you already have, where did you wear it, what did you wear it with and what was the response you got?
I’ve worn these pants everywhere, and I am not exaggerating. Work, happy hour, church, dentist appointments; you name it, I’ve worn my khaki crops. I wore them today to get my hair styled, paired with a loose-fitting deep v-neck T-shirt, stylish flats, and a big chunky turquoise necklace. For a more fun and risky look, I wore them with a skinny metallic belt, matching wedges, and a lingerie-inspired camisole top. It’s really impossible to go wrong with these pants. Almost every time I’ve worn them, they’ve illicit a “Where did you get those? Who makes them?” If that’s not a sure sign of success, I don’t know what is!
How would you style this pant?
I’d style these crop capris in the same way I already have. I think what love most about them is their versatility. My go-to look for just hanging around the house or doing brunch with my girls is comfort meets style. For work though, I really have to “turn it up” so to speak, and attempt to look effortlessly fashionable. These capris are right on trend and give off that chic California casual style that I so love.
Were you familiar with the brand before the fitting?
I was very familiar with AG, as it’s basically a house-hold name, especially for someone as denim obsessed as myself. That said, even I was surprised when I realized I’d never owned a pair of AGs – I couldn’t believe it! I’m so happy to finally have a such a great addition to my wardrobe.
Describe your experience in letting the Denim Guy fit you? What surprised you in letting someone else fit you for Khakis?
The Denim Guy always gets it right. That said, I was not surprised when he handed over the AG’s and I loved them. I was however, very pleasantly surprised that he changed things up on me with the khaki material. To top things off even more, the distressed look on the khaki is sort of unexpected, and to be completely honest, that’s what I love most about these capris. Once again, though, he totally delivered!
Who did your new jeans make you want to channel?
In the AG Ex-Boyfriend Khaki capris, I feel like I’m channeling two very different women. One of them is that quintessential put-together Hollywood mom heading out to run errands, yet still looking like a million bucks; perhaps someone like Katie Holmes or Jennifer Garner. On the other hand, I feel like these ex-boyfriend pants also have a subtle sex-appeal that also makes me feel like I’m channeling a casual bombshell like Megan Fox…someone that doesn’t try at all, but still looks hot all the time.
On a scale of 1-10, what do you think your bootylicious factor is?
Who would’ve ever imagined bootylicious in the same sentence as the word khaki? Well, listen up, because here it comes…my AG Ex Boyfriend Khaki Capris are the only bootylicious pants in their category. The boring khaki pants that are normally set aside for country club schmooze-fests have nothing on the bootylicious factor of these rockin’ AGs!
