This pair of maternity denim probably received the most attention I’ve had in a long time. I once walked to into the office at work and the women were telling me I couldn’t wear this particular pair of denim. “What do you mean I can’t wear these?” The comments made came from the fact that this pair of denim was not like most maternity denim. The major difference is that it does not have an elastic band around the waist like most. Instead, the elastic is sewn into the side seams of the waist. Therefore the denim looks like a regular pair of denim and this is what the women at work were concerned about.

I really liked the uniqueness of this pair of denim. The fit around the legs and thighs were great. The waist conforms to your waistline, as it lies right below your growing belly. The fit did remind me of a pair of low-rise denim and I often had to make sure that I wore them with a long top. The wash was dark and I could easily transform the denim from day to night. The attention I received wearing this particular pair of denim was remarkable. The veteran mothers always made comments of how we have so many more options in maternity wear than they did. This pair of denim definitely is the new generation of maternity wear.
