Maternity Denim Reviewing: Citizens of Humanity

Citizens of Humanity:

We all have that one pair of denim that stretches out with our body’s curves. Most of us will even prolong washing the denim because we know they wont fit the same again. Well, who knew there was a pair of maternity denim that could do the same? My Citizens did just that! The fit was a little snug in the beginning, but the more I wore them, the better they fit.

The Citizens are like most maternity denim in that they have a wide elastic band for your growing baby, but I was also concerned about my growing hips and bottom.  The fit around my legs and thighs were comfortable as I wore them more. They stretched as my body grew in different places through my whole pregnancy. The denim looked just as great on in four months as they did in eight months.  The wash on the Citizens were a little on the darker side, but I could make them look dressy and casual. I often paired this denim with a blazer for work and wore them with a peasant top and flip- flops for a more relaxed look. This pair of denim brought me to the days of me wearing regular denim and for a pregnant woman, that feeling is priceless!
