How does the denim fit in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?

This may sound completely insane but just thinking about the fit of this denim makes me smile. The fit is relaxed in the crotch, hip and thigh area, which is so refreshing in our current age of skinny-jean domination. However, it’s also important to note that this denim is comfortable without being messy. Moreover, the waist maintains it’s integrity and doesn’t get too loose, because in my personal opinion there is nothing cute about “butt cleavage”. With these Agaves though, wardrobe malfunctions are not an issue. The fit allows for comfort, but not at the price of sacrificing style.

Where would you wear this denim to or if you already have, where did you wear it, what did you wear it with and what was the response you got?

Without a doubt, this pair of Agave denim will be my go-to pair for the summer season. Every single day since I received this denim, I’ve wanted to wear them. That said, I’ve started to get very creative when it comes to styling, and lucky for me, this look, as far as denim is concerned, is right on trend. I recently wore this denim out to beach restaurant with a bunch of my girlfriends, and I received several compliments on what one of my pals referred to as a “great boho-chic look.” I wore the denim folded a few times on each leg, partnered with some cute/casual flats, a flowy tank, chunky sweater and a fun straw fedora hat.  It was so great to get compliments on a look that didn’t require body tape, spanx or anything of the sort. I was so comfy, yet fashionable at the same time…what’s better than that?

How would you style this denim?

I would style this denim in the same way that I already noted above, seeing as it was a success. I would also downplay things even more by maybe doing a loose fitting white v-neck and some jack Purcells for a super casual day of running errands or something of that sort. For a dressier occasion, I think it would so fun to do a funkier look – maybe a tan gladiator shoe with a cute top and boyfriend blazer or some great espadrille wedges and a summery top. This is the perfect pair of summer denim.

Were you familiar with the brand before the fitting?

I was not familiar with Agave prior to my fitting, but I’m so glad that the Denim Guy brought this brand to my attention because I absolutely love the quality and fit. If this pair is any indication as to what the rest of Agave’s line is like, I would definitely become repeat buyer and an Agave advocate for my friends!

Describe your experience in letting the Denim Guy fit you? What surprised you in letting someone else fit you for jeans?

The Denim Guy is an absolute genius. Regardless of how tall, short, skinny, curvy or boxy one’s figure is, buying denim is almost always an issue. Every body type has it’s own set of issues when it comes to buying denim, myself included. Being able to meet someone who can cut out all the work and frustration of searching for that perfect denim is literally a miracle. The Denim Guy chatted with me, got a feel for what I like, got my measurements and the rest is blissful history. He turned the normal insanity of denim shopping into a fun experience. He saved me time, energy and delivered just what I was hoping for!

On a scale of 1-10, how hot did you feel walking down the street in your new denim? Give us the number and tell us why.

I felt like a 9 all the way walking down the street in this denim. I would say 10, but this denim is very discreet – it’s not that in your face super-tight kind of sexy. It’s that loose-fitting, super comfortable, confident kind of sexy. I think that’s why so often this look is frequently referred to as a boyfriend style…guys love seeing their ladies wear their clothes and girls love wearing them. Only with this denim, you can be solo and still get the same appeal!

Who did your new jeans make you want to channel? Heidi Klum or Scarlett Johanasen?

If I may, I have to say that I was definitely channeling two different fashion divas in my Agave denim. First up, in my more casual tank/t-shirt and flat shoes outfits, I felt like the brunette sister of Reese Witherspoon. She always looks comfortable and sophisticated. Then in the more edgy and dressier looks I paired with this denim, I was completely channeling one my favorite style icons – the lovely and fabulous Gwen Stefani. She is the queen of this denim look and a style role model to women of all ages. It made me want to throw on some red lipstick and head out in search of a Gavin Rossdale look-alike….haha!

On a scale of 1-10, what do you think your bootylicious factor is?

With this denim fit, anyone and truly mean ANYONE can achieve a perfect 10 in the bootylicious factor. Two reasons: 1. An ample booty can actually fit in this denim and 2. Once in the denim the booty can actually move. I think even Beyonce would agree with me on this one.
