I normally do not post things like this but I just had to when I heard about this.

So, is this bad? In my opinion I think it will just dilute the brand and make it less premium. When a fashion house does this type of collaboration with Target it’s okay because the designer tends to be extremely high end and working with Target only serves to enhance the brand (ex Alexander McQueen and Jean Paul Gaultier). But, when a denim line that you can already buy at say a Nordstrom Rack or Marshalls does it, the brand loses that special something that made it a “premium” line to begin with.  Anyone remember how Mossimo started?  Yeah, me too.
