Established in 2004 in New York City, Raven Denim found its niche in the endless array of denim brands by introducing a truly tailored denim trouser, the Mackenzie. The impeccable cut grounded by a unique back yoke that rolls to the front panel coupled with special detailing such as a striped cotton ticking interior waistband, & leather buttons is what has made the Mackenzie a best seller.

Raven Denim was designed in NY and manufactured in LA until the winter of 2008 when Kris Park who has been producing high-end premium denim lines for over 20 years, including Raven Denim, took the reins to lead Raven into a new decade and give it a new home in Los Angeles.

In the spring of 2009, LA based designer Ya-el Torbati came on board as Raven’s creative director. Ya-el brings with her over 9 years of experience at the helm of several premium denim brands. This includes being the founding designer of Yanuk Jeans in 2002 and more recently was the designer & part owner of Deener Denim.

The tailored philosophy of Raven remains intact, while the collection is expanding its quality denim line with innovative and fresh new ideas in fashion denim. Ya-el’s attention to detail, vintage aesthetic, and her extensive knowledge of fit is pushing Raven to usher in a new decade of denim with sophisticated & timeless pieces.

Raven continues to grow with its men’s launch for Spring 2010. Like the women’s collection, only the best Italian denim fabrics are used and all of the washes are meticulously hand processed in LA. 5-pocket jeans with signature stitch detailing, molded oxidized hardware, and yarn-dyed plaid pocketing grace a variety of fits. The tailored Max trouser can’t help but stand out for those who want a new standard in men’s  denim.
