Side Note From THE DENIM GUY:
Hi Everyone! So I just wanted to take a moment to explain how all the Paige Premium Denim and PPD reviews were done. Before denim was pulled for readers  I asked them to provide me with a list of “problems†when buying premium denim.  From that list the amazing team over at Paige and I reviewed all the issues at hand and provided the reader with a solution, the perfect fitting denim! Thank You to Lacie and her Team for coming up with this great idea !
So with that said….
AUSTIN’S PROBLEM:
The main problem I have is fitting my waist size. I can wear a 31 or 32, but usually a 31 is tighter then I like and 32’s are often too loose. Another thing that I do not like is a boot-cut because it is typically too wide and the denim ends up covering my shoes.
THE SOLUTION:
PPD MENS NORMANDIE SKINNY FIT- Â skinny 5-pocket jean, large embroidered whipstitch,Double seamed “U” pocket, 34″ inseam, classic front rise, super-slim cut

How does the denim fit in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?
The waist, crotch, butt and thigh area fit absolutely perfect. In fact, out of all the denim I tried on, these fit me the best in those specific areas. Even though the jeans are a skinny fit, they fit and look more like a straight leg. I have thicker thighs and legs so typically a skinny fit is tight around my thighs, knees and ankles. These fit loose in those areas.

Where have you worn this denim to?
I’ve worn these jeans on a few errands around town such as to Starbucks and Borders. Since they fit great in the waist and not too tight in the legs, it makes it easy and comfortable to walk around.

How would you style this denim?
I wore them with a plain white tee and a pair of tennis shoes which was a perfect complement since they are a more relaxed fit.

Describe your experience in allowing The Denim Guy fit you in PPD?
The Denim Guy was aware of my likes and dislikes and was able to use that knowledge to find me a pair of denim that I love. I was surprised how accurate he was in finding the right pair of denim for me with just my waist size. Before the Denim Guy came along, I never heard of Paige Premium Denim. But now that I have my own pair, I’m eager for more.

Very cool! I think it’s probably challenging for guys to find not too baggy and not too tight denim-these Paiges seem like a perfectly happy medium!

Recently I bought my boyfriend a pair of jeans, they fit but they looked like they were going up his booty. I’m glad to read and see that there is an art to finding the right jeans. I will definately keep up with the denim guy so the next time I buy him a pair of jeans they will fit perfect.

Soooooo, for PPD, the Normandie isn’t exactly “skinny” then? If it’s pretty baggy around the thigh would it be categorized as “slim” or “skinny” necessarily?
Or maybe Austin should size down due to stretching from wearing it a lot?
Nonetheless, the jeans look great Austin! Love the wash. What wash are they?
