Denim Review Citizens of Humanity Avedon (slick skinny leg) in a size 25

How does the denim fit in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?
I know I’ve said this before, and at the time I meant it, but… this is the most comfortable jean ever! It fits great and is so incredibly comfortable I would even wear these on a plane! In fact, I plan to wear them on a plane in two weeks when I fly to New York…

Where would you wear this denim to or if you already have, where did you wear it, what did you wear it with and what was the response you got? I’ve worn this jean a couple times now, both times with flat mid-calf boots (one black, one brown) and an oversized top of some kind (once with a Division E oversized ¾ sleeve tee, another time with a Democracy of Nevermind jersey open-back shift..). I love these jeans with calf-hugging boots and something bigger on top.

Describe your experience in letting the Denim Guy fit you? The Denim Guy was excited to pass these on to me because he knew how they would feel! The denim is so comfortable and fits true to size. He knew what I would fit before he even gave these to me!  Were you familiar with the brand before the fitting? Yes I was definitely familiar with Citizens of Humanity. Their women’s jeans have a reputation in the industry of being a very good seller at retail – which means they fit! What surprised you in letting someone else fit you for jeans? I welcome having someone knowledgeable like The Denim Guy fit me for jeans, it really makes a difference.
Who did your new jeans make you want to channel? Heidi Klum or Scarlett Johanasen? I think Scarlett! She is so effortlessly sexy no matter what she’s wearing! These jeans look hot with just about anything- flat boots, heels, oversized boyfriend tee or blazer… it’s easy to feel sexy. J

Does your new denim help you channel a new alter ego? Introduce us to this person! Like I said about channeling Scarlett Johanasen, these jeans are sexy but easy to wear, and so versatile. And because of this, I had many alter egos in these jeans! One of them is a girl who likes to mix statement vintage and leather pieces with something I little bit more subtle, like some vintage boots and a tight fitting leather jacket with a neutral t-shirt (or a couple of them!), then layer on some interesting necklaces, some vintage, some new…
