Denim Reviewing: MEK DENIM the Zanzibar Cigarette in a size 27

So… what did you think about your MEK DENIM? Fit? Wash? Detailing?

The fit in the waist was super comfortable. The cut and wash in the thigh area was extremely slimming, which I was surprised about because I usually go for darker washes thinking I’ll get that effect and don’t always find that to be the case. The fit in the butt area was amazing and I love the way the pocket detailing accentuates the booty. I love the cigarette leg because I find that it elongates my legs and I have room for my heels.

Where have you worn your MEK DENIM to?

I wore this pair of denim to the mall while on a Christmas shopping marathon. I felt sexy yet so comfy; which in my opinion is the perfect recipe for a fabulous pair of denim. My mom, who was with me, commented on how much she loved the back pocket detailing, accent stitching, and subtle fraying. I couldn’t agree with her more-this denim is definitely hot.

How would you wear this denim with?

I styled this pair with a simple V neck T , fitted jacket, scarf, brown booties, and slouchy brown bag- this made for a super laid back yet put together look

Tell us about your personal experience in letting the Denim Guy fit you?

Letting the denim guy fit me was an awesome experience. I found that he got me to try washes and styles that I would have never picked myself because of my preconceived notions about what works on my body type. I can’t wait to see what looks he comes up with for my upcoming photo shoot!

On a scale of 1-10, how hot did you feel walking down the street in your new denim.

These jeans are a perfect 10- due to the comfort and sexy factor. I’ll definitely be rocking these all the time.

Who did your new denim make you want to channel? Heidi Klum or Scarlett Johanasen?

These jeans are so Scarlett Johanasen. I even thought of that as I decided what to wear them with. They remind me of her wardrobe in “He’s Just Not That Into You”.
