Lauren Reviews: Paige Premium Denim

NAME: Lauren AGE: 26
Side Note From THE DENIM GUY:
Hi Everyone! So I just wanted to take a moment to explain how all the Paige Premium Denim and PPD reviews were done. Before denim was pulled for readers I asked them to provide me with a list of “problems” when buying premium denim. From that list the amazing team over at Paige and I reviewed all the issues at hand and provided the reader with a solution, the perfect fitting denim
THE PROBLEM: My biggest problem buying premium denim is buying something that fits my waist, and my butt simultaneously. Usually they fit in the waist, and the butt area is way to tight, or it fits my butt perfectly and then it’s to big in the waist. Nothing is worse than sitting down in a pair of jeans you paid a premium price for and there is a big gap in the waist area that shows off your butt, and let’s the whole world see your underwear.
THE SOLUTION: Paige Premium Denim, The Hollywood Hills in a Size 30

How does the denim fit in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs?
Fit in the waist, crotch, butt and thighs is perfect. Pants are a wider leg trouser style which takes some getting used to, but very comfortable and the denim is very soft too! I almost felt like I was wearing bell bottoms, but when I put on heels that feeling quickly went away.
How would you style this denim?
I wore this pair of jeans with a long sleeve black top, gray coat, scarf, and some heels. My family loved the jeans, said they looked very flattering on.
Were you familiar with the brand before the fitting?
I was familiar with Paige Premium Denim before I was fitted by the Denim Guy. I have tried them on numerous times and I love that Paige keeps taller girls in mind when making their denim.

On a scale of 1-10, how hot did you feel walking down the street in your new denim?
On a scale of 1 to 10 I felt like a 9 walking down the street in these jeans. Jeans are super comfy and they feel great on. Only reason I didn’t feel like a 10 is because back is a tad low when sitting and standing. Thank goodness for longer shirts that hide the dreaded “plumbers crack”.
How does your old denim compare to your new stuff?
Compared to my old denim I love the PPD’s. It’s actually funny because my mom is a total denim critic. She hates that I spend so much money on my denim and is an avid believer that all denim is created equal. I keep trying to tell her that premium denim is so much nicer, lasts longer, and feels incredible compared to your normal joe blow denim….case in point: I put a pair of my normal nothing special jeans on, and played with my 5 year old nephew. My pants ripped! Next I put the PPD’s on and nothing happened! They were comfy and feel like they’ll last forever. Now I think she might be thinking otherwise about normal vs premium denim.

Lauren Makes those Jeans look good! =)
First off, great website, to have people review denim jeans with actual real people. I like the detail in the review of the jeans, taking all aspects into consideration; comfort, quality, ease, and feel. You can tell the model is very comfortable in these jeans. I’d like to see more shots of the jeans/model in a stand up position.
all I can say is Simply Stunning, AGAIN! I’ve know of these jeans for years and always wondered why more women weren’t wearing them.I guess its like they say, you have to be in the KNOW. Great job Lauren, you look fantastic!
Thats a cool wash and the fit looks great!
True test for comfort is to wear them sitting down. But can’t really see how they fit. Nice flared leg. Very dressy.
Lauren, I liked the fact that the jeans went well with a dressier shoe. If they feel good sitting down I am sure you’ll like them standing. I don’t mind paying more for a set of jeans if I know they are going to last like you said.
shes got legs and knows how to use them!
OK….I’ve seen Lauren in 3 different pairs of jeans now and have decided I’m in love with a picture.
