Whenever I go to the Getty or the Long Beach Museum of Art I always walk away wishing I could draw or paint something amazing. Unfortunately, I can’t draw to save my life and I’m pretty sure that a five year old can draw better stick figures than me. However, while I can’t paint like the talented artists at LBMA, at least I can fool people into thinking I can with the gorgeous pieces from Quail, the new and refreshing line from Los Angeles based designer Michelle Nguyen Williams.

Brought to our attention by Samuel Lippke in his newest work “The Story of A Man At War,” model Audrey’s beautiful green “Wishful Thinking” dress momentarily distracted us from our latest Samuel fix and so we moseyed on over to qisforquail.com. From unique dresses and pieces that speak to the artist in all of us, Michelle Nguyen Williams has created a beautiful line of clothing that reflects her quirky spirit and the inspiration that can be found from the art and culture around us.

Leave it to Samuel to hit us with a double whammy of love and fashion…be still our hearts!
